Anne Schimmel Beck has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, since 1997 and considers herself as a Financial Coach to help guide you towards your goals in a holistic way.
She is also an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR), a Registered Representative with Avantax Investment Services SM , and a Health & Life Insurance Producer. She is also an Enrolled Agent by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and has been preparing tax returns for individuals as well as for small businesses since 2008. Tax planning is an important component in developing a client's financial strategy.
Her background includes:
* Yoga Instructor
* Red Cross Disaster Relief Team member (deployed to Houston, TX for Hurricane Harvey) as well as Disaster Relief efforts around the Detroit metro area.
* Founder of Reach Out Children's Fund, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. A program that helps students in extreme poverty that live in the Andes mountains of Peru. Anne was recently awarded the Invest in Others Global Impact Award, Honorable Mention for her work, www.reachoutchildrensfund.org Anne has been working with the schools in the high altitude mountains of Peru since 2000.
* Active volunteer with Forgotten Harvest Pop Up Pantries Emergency Food Release since the Pandemic in the Detroit region.
Anne has been married to Greg for many years. They have 2 amazing daughters who attended MSU, go green!
