Vickie Adams is a Certified Financial Planner® professional and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™. In 1991, she founded a boutique wealth management practice with offices in Los Angeles, CA and Denver, CO.
Vickie brings over two decades of dedicated experience and training in the field of
financial planning and wealth management. She offers in-depth knowledge and
expertise in solving complex financial issues with an emphasis on taxation. She has
written extensively on diverse financial topics, is regarded as a key influencer in Divorce
financial planning, and has been quoted by publications from CBS, USA Today, WSJ
and the divorce infidelity blog Chump Lady Her other areas of service include wealth
management, taxation, estate and retirement planning.
After noticing the financial problems of recently divorced clients confused by the
monetary implications of their divorce settlements, Vickie took a proactive stance in
advising clients about planning for their economic future. She established her company
to assist others in the major life-changing transition of divorce. Her dedicated aim is to
ensure clients financial security by providing objective, intelligent advice that considers
their lifestyle and future goals
Vickie earned her Certified Financial PlanningTM credential from the College for Financial
Planning in Denver, Colorado in 1991. She has also received the Institute for Divorce
Financial Analysts credential as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. She is as an
advocate for consensual dispute resolution, has completed training in the collaborative
divorce process as a financial neutral as well as the 40-hour mediation training. She
has assisted thousands of tax clients and has a CRTP credential from the IRS. Clients
consider her firm a complete resource, ‘their own personal financial concierge" and
‘trusted advocate’
